Detailing some incredible results (especially my own) with the Four Hour Body Slow Carb Diet!

Slow Carb Diet Cheat Day Glory

For me, the best part of the slow carb diet by far is CHEAT DAYS!

My cheat day each week is Saturday, because that’s what works best for me. (I’d be curious to hear below what day yo have chosen)

Just for fun I thought I’d walk through my latest cheat day indulgence…

7:00 AM – Athletic Greens, handful of dried edamame, 2 hard boiled eggs, almond butter & broccoli (yeah I know weird but it’s so yummy)

8:30 AM – Coffee with fructevia and organic vanilla soymilk and brownies

10:00 AM – 2 Philly Soft Pretzels

12:00 PM – Watermelon & some Ritz Crackers

1:30 PM – Ham & Cheese sandwich with lettuce & green pepper, barbecue chips & coke zero (yeah I know the fake sugar is not recommended for the slow carb diet, but I can’t help myself)

3:30 PM – 7 vanilla Oreo cookies (yes 7:-)

5:30 PM – KFC chicken breast, Arby’s roast beef sandwich, a couple french fries & a biscuit, plus iced tea

6:00 PM – Black raspberry ice cream with a Tastycake

8:00 PM – Another Philly Soft Pretzel (they’re best when fresh so I don’t want them to go to waste ya know)

9:30 PM – Strawberry popsicle and 3 frozen peanut butter cups

It’d be scary to count the calories on all of this, but again that’s another great thing about the slow carb diet… there’s no need to calorie count! While this seems like a lot (and it really is), this is a pretty typical cheat day for me.

I make it a point to never weigh myself the morning after cheat day. In fact, I usually wait until Tuesday morning to weigh in for the first time after my Saturday cheat. Nearly every single week, even after the monumental cheat days, I’m back down to my target weight on Tuesday morning, which is a wonderful feeling.

Couple of important notes:

  1. Throughout the day I do the binge fighting exercises outlined for the slow carb diet (push ups, air squats and arm band extensions)
  2. I usually take a walk sometime throughout the day, which is nothing overly strenuous.
  3. I do my best not to eat until the point that I feel sick, but it still happens sometimes to the best of us :-)

Below I’d love to hear you share 2 things: What day of the week is your cheat day and what’s your favorite cheat day food(s)?
